In-Space Propulsion Thruster Product Line

Triton Space Technologies specializes in innovative, non-toxic, rocket propulsion systems and has over a decade of experience in the detailed design, manufacturing and testing of rocket engine feed systems and related components. Utilizing this experience we are bringing to market a new line of in-space propulsion thrusters.

As the first product in this new line of in-space propulsion thrusters, the TS-RTGG100 thruster was developed specifically to showcase our high performance direct-acting solenoid valves developed for integration directly into the powerhead of small rocket engine thrusters. The TS-RTGG100 is a 100 lbf thrust engine that utilizes gaseous oxygen and methane. It was inspired by the idea of creating a hot gas thruster for reaction control maneuvering of large, reusable spacecraft that reach orbit with large volumes of low-pressure, gaseous propellant residuals onboard. These low-pressure gaseous propellents are ideal for use with a torch igniter-based gas-gas combustion thruster like the TS-RTGG100. Please Contact Us for details regarding pricing and availability.

Future thrusters coming in this engine class will focus on using non-toxic, storable propellants. Our particular expertise involves the use of nitrous oxide as an oxidizer and our upcoming engine designs will feature several products leveraging the unique aspects of this propellant that minimize the hazards typically associated with its use.
